Have you ever experienced looking straight into the eyes of cats? What they did if you simply stare at them, they closed their eyes for a brief movement before opening them. Whether it’s about cats or humans, to blink slowly is a confusing practice. The question that arises here is, why do cats blink slowly? What is their aim behind it? Are they trying to communicate or expressing any feelings?
Thus, many animal experts say different things about it, such as they don’t stare at any person if they feel any threat or negative feeling. They feel aggressive if they continue watching anything without blinking. Maybe you are going to be attacked by them while holding eye contact.
However, it can be seen that cats blink in different ways like closing and opening eyes slowly or at a rapid pace though they blink their eyes as they want.
Although you can’t say it an affection, rather than a sign of satisfaction, suppose a cat closes its eyes while a human’s presence, it is a possibility that she feels no threat.
It is impossible to know cats’ feelings about what they think about you while you stare at them for an extended period of time. Are they consider it a danger? It is yet to be known.
About blinking, theories are present but need the testimonial of cats.
