Things I Came to Know Too Late in My Life

Things I Came to Know Too Late in My Life

Life is full of joy and sorrow, and everything that happens to us brings either a lesson or a purpose. Man always keeps himself busy in searching for the true purpose of his life. Hardly a number of men succeed in this pursuit. We, being human, are full of errors, and none of us is lucky enough to get everything on time. The same is with me, what I learn too late in my life are the following. I have listed them down. They might help someone who is always ready to learn through other experiences.

We always lose friends whenever we lend them money because whenever we ask for a return, we do not only lose friends but also money. So, try not to lend money to your friends, you will lose both money and friendship.

Never make friends with government officials. When they come to know your financial position, they start asking for financial help. If you give any money to them, never expect its return. Thus, making friends with government officials will put your finance at risk.

Never trust everybody blindly, and try not to disclose your secrets to everyone. You don’t know who is loyal to you or not. You hardly get someone trusted in the world. So, always try to do good with others, as a result, God will do good to you.

Read a “Good Book” every month, at least a year. Rather than experiencing things by you, try to learn through the mistakes done by others. It won’t only save your time but also help you polish your personality. Always remember, “Readers are Leaders.”

Always save something for tomorrow. Don’t spend everything, you have, today with the hope to earn more tomorrow. If you do so, the future might be the toughest exam for you.

Always love the poor and miserable. They are the most trusted and beautiful people in the world. If a bad time comes, you only find them with you, not the rich.

Always try to help the poor. If you ever become a poor person, you will find someone helping you.

Never think much about the things, if you are on right, then do it. As with thinking, we can become Plato or Aristotle, but with actions, we can become Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Nelson Mandela, or Abdul Satar Edhi.

Always kind to all creatures of the world including animals and trees, as they also feel pain and happiness.

While dressing up, never think about people. Always see what suits you. Because we get recognition not because of our dresses, cars, mobiles, etc., but because of our education and actions.

Stop living to no one’s expectation. Always live according to your true self.

Be courageous to say YES/NO.

When you are mistaken always try to agree with it. Don’t blame others for it.

Talk less and think more. The more you think, the more mature your actions will be.

Never be afraid to think big because every success is a combination of thinking and action.

Never say you are perfect. Always be ready to learn new things. Because when you stop learning you start dying.

Never leave for tomorrow what you have to do today.

Never try to be perfect. It is normal to commit mistakes because you’re advancing and dreaming for something big.

Always be humble and love your parents. As you will get everything from love, money, respect to status, education, and business, the only thing you get once in your life is your parents. Love them before they leave you.

The best teacher is your intellect, not the experience. Learn from other peoples’ experiences.

Never hurt those who love you. Because one day they really get hurt easily.

Do good and never expect one in return.
