In a mechanical age, our lives are greatly influenced by smart technologies, not only at homes but also at the industries and workstations. Undoubtedly, artificial intelligence (AI) has the power to enhance the efficiency, productivity, accuracy, and speed across an organization – is it literally fruitful? People globally have different opinions on it that the rise of AI will negatively impact human workers by replacing them with robots.
In the world of emerging technologies, many organizations started to gain benefits from the use of AI and enhance human capabilities. As a continuously trending technology, AI has emerged into many fields in a blink of an eye. As per knowledge areas, it has potentially increased the organisations’ working capabilities, enabling it efficiently.
The companies that will first deploy it will gain exceptional benefits and a cost reduction. However, it will not be beneficial and generate problems for a job doing community. Moreover, AI will affect different sectors according to their relationship with technology. Furthermore, automation and transport industries are at greater risk; whereas, it will be less drastic for social jobs.
AI, a change in people’s lives, will potentially benefit many sectors according to some people and create more job opportunities to handle these technologies. Moreover, it will be severed for the people lacking knowledge of using AI and technology.
In the near future, AI will replace many job areas such as decision making, problem-solving, and mind mapping with the rear occurrence of errors. It will help in automated decisions, and it will be beneficial for organizations through which they can generate more economic opportunities.
Due to a vast area that could be affected by AI, some downsides need to be addressed.
- Industries need to reduce the trust issue related to AI’s emergence by implementing it effectively that it will not harm the others.
- It will be the governments’ responsibilities to ensure that no equality will exist, and discriminate the inequalities between the affected and unaffected by the help of developing new opportunities for them.
- Industries should upskill their employees to meet with the current scenario.
To tackle the issue properly, we need to enhance our focus on education and business—modern education which will be equipped with AI and technology learning. Horizons should shift to modern education. AI will change the world, but we should not be afraid of it instead of it, we need to enhance human capabilities which can work according to new shifts in lives.
