Hamda Faisal

Hamda Faisal, a Sir Syed Kazim Ali student, is a literature graduate and writer based in Gujranwala, Pakistan. She analyses and writes critical reviews of literary texts worldwide, a habit imparted by her college degree. Her undergrad thesis explores the convergence of time, space, and language in Ocean Vuong's poems and argues the creation of literary chronotypes to preserve memory and history. She believes languages are gateways to new knowledge and experiences, and her ambition of learning writing and preparing for the CSS under Sir Syed Kazim Ali's guidance reflects that. She wants to work in publishing and preserving Pakistani literature, focusing on archiving personal history; the numerous stories of our parents and grandparents deserve their rightful space among time and language. She wants to honour those narrations so we can all learn from history and memory. Besides that, she is currently writing about different national and international events on the website CSSPREPFORUM, which helps many CSS and PMS aspirants prepare themselves for their competitive examinations, and she is very curious and meticulous about this pursuit.
