Aqsa Saeed, a graduate of University of Peshawar in English and Applied Linguistics, belongs to the Peshawar city. She is a student of Sir Syed Kazim Ali ; she is currently preparing for the CSS examination. There exist multiple reasons to join civil services. First and foremost is to serve the public of Pakistan and to make small-scale transformations in the society under the domain of her authority because it will be no less than a milestone for her to make a positive change in the society that benefits the ordinary masses. Secondly, she wants to be self- sufficient and independent in her life for which opting the career of civil services sounds a clever choice to her. Moreover, the preparation journey of this examination demands self- restraint, discipline and rigorous practice, which is challenging; she finds herself courageous to take this challenge. However, as far as, her passion for writing is concerned, she has been keen on free writing, enabling her to craft her thoughts on the paper without following any strict guidelines and rules. Writing has been her area of interest because she believes that through the power of a pen, minds can be compelled to think critically, and the voice of her mind can be heard by millions without any sound. As history reveals that it was the power of the pen of great thinkers like Sir Syed Ahmad Khan and Allam Iqbal that brought revolutionary ideas in the society and transformed the thinking of then Muslims of the subcontinent. In a nutshell, through this journey of CSS she is trying to polish her multiple hidden capabilities of understanding, analysing, thinking and crafting those thoughts on the paper, ultimately leading to the fulfilment of her long-terms goals and dreams.
