Kalsoom Begum

Kalsoom Begum, a student of Sir Syed Kazim Ali, is a graduate of Government Degree College, Batkhela, in English Literature and Linguistics. She maintained a 3.70 CGPA out of 4.0 during her graduation. As a literary student, she researched Henry Fielding’s novel “JOSEPH ANDREWS”. There, she explored the anti-feminist view of the writer and how Henry Fielding used vulgar language for females. She is keenly interested in studying multiple writing pieces and practical life events in her surroundings regarding women. Besides this, she loves poetry and the company of intellectuals. Furthermore, a remarkable change occurred during her CSS journey; she discovered a profound passion for writing and studying articles and research papers about domestic and international affairs. Additionally, she loves cooking and trying new recipes for her family. Being a chef, she guides other people in cooking as well. Next to it, she has almost nine years of experience teaching the Holy Quran with Tajweed. She is also passionate about Pakistani literature, especially English, Pashto, and Urdu. Finally, the few qualities that make her stand out in her area are teaching free of cost to those children who have no access to education. Finally, she wants to become the first Civil Servant lady of her district “Malakand” to fulfil her father's dream and help the public.
